Berufskolleg Nord der StädteRegion Aachen Herzogenrath
De unieke ligging van Berufskolleg Herzogenrath in het grensgebied Maas-Rijn en de globalisering van de arbeidsmarkt staan centraal in ons werk. Als Europese Erasmus+-school is het voor ons bijzonder belangrijk om onze studenten voor te bereiden op de verschillende banen en levensomstandigheden die onze grensregio biedt. Om gebruik te maken van deze mogelijkheden, stimuleren we het leren van vreemde talen en het ontwikkelen van interculturele vaardigheden.
Naast cursussen Engels en Spaans bieden we daarom in bijna alle opleidingen Frans en Nederlands als euregionale taal aan. Om taal- en interculturele vaardigheden verder te bevorderen, lopen onze studenten twee of meer weken stage in het buitenland. Daarnaast kunnen studenten het KMK-certificaat in vreemde talen behalen.
Bovendien bieden we stages in het buitenland aan voor onze studenten in het duale onderwijssysteem. We werken nauw samen met partners, scholen en bedrijven in Ierland, Nederland, België, Frankrijk en Spanje. Door deze samenwerking kunnen onze studenten eerste ervaringen in het buitenland opdoen die belangrijk zijn voor hun werk gerelateerde en persoonlijke ontwikkeling. Al vroeg kunnen onze studenten hun taalvaardigheid testen in onze uitwisselingsprogramma’s met buitenlandse partners in Frankrijk, België
Uitwisselingsprojecten met onze partners in Frankrijk, België, Polen en Spanje stellen onze studenten, ook van de voltijdopleidingen, in staat om hun kennis van vreemde talen in direct contact te testen.
